Though, it is not always convenient for someone to pick up their documents, due to being out of state or just too busy. You can give authorization for someone else to pick them up for you.

How to write an authorization:

– Be sure you are clear of what your permitting (which document)
– You should give clarification (who is permitted to get your documents)
– Be sure that your full name is printed on the authorization
– A signature is required
– Be sure that your personal information is with the letter
– Make sure it is dated
– End on a positive tone

Below you will find a few examples of how to write an authorization letter.

First, example:

This is to authorize Mr./Ms. (Name of the person you are allowing ) to pick up my Birth Certificate/Marriage Certificate/Cenomar, in my behalf. Please see enclosed my personal identification card for your reference.

Whichever, letter example you just be sure that everything is clarified. If your letter is not pacific they may not release your documents.
